Job Brief: We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team. As a lead video editor, you will be responsible for assembling raw video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of our company.
To ensure success as a video editor, you should have expert knowledge of modern video editing techniques, be able to visualize directorial concepts and work according to a strict time schedule. Ultimately, a top-notch video editor can perfectly translate our company\xe2\x80\x99s idea into a beautifully crafted video piece, worthy of broadcasting. Responsibilities:
\xef\x82\xb7 Meeting with the assigned manager and team to determine the company\xe2\x80\x99s vision.
\xef\x82\xb7 Reviewing raw material to determine the shortlist.
\xef\x82\xb7 Manipulating video footage using modern editing techniques.
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop an overall video brand messaging strategy.
\xef\x82\xb7 Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
\xef\x82\xb7 Inserting dialogue, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
\xef\x82\xb7 Consulting with the assigned manager and team throughout the project.
\xef\x82\xb7 Creating the final cut for broadcasting.
\xef\x82\xb7 Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and the industry\xe2\x80\x99s best practices to maximize efficiency.
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value. Required Candidate Profile:
\xef\x82\xb7 Any Diploma/UG/PG
\xef\x82\xb7 Previous work experience as a video editor.
\xef\x82\xb7 Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.
\xef\x82\xb7 Creative and artistic skills.
\xef\x82\xb7 Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
\xef\x82\xb7 Portfolio of completed work.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work on a tight schedule.
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
\xef\x82\xb7 Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
