Job Description

We are looking to hire a talented and experienced Video Editor/Animation Artist to join our busy production team. As a lead video editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded film and video footage, applying artistic editing techniques and creating finished, broadcast-worthy projects that accurately reflect the vision of the production director. As an animator, we\xe2\x80\x99ll be depending on you to create stunning visuals that can captivate our prospects and current customers alike. Responsibilities:

• Design materials for digital and print formats
• Accurately use company branding assets (incl. Colors, fonts, etc.)
• Develop completed and high-quality animations, in a timely manner
• Develop expressive images and video for clients while working with other creatives

• Advise best practices throughout the design projects for example:
• Common errors to point out in the design and animation QA processes.

• Work with a wide range of media, after effects, graphic design, and animation software
• Manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
• Adhere to voice and messaging specifications for animated pieces
• Accept and work with feedback to create on-brand deliverables at every stage of work
• Edits videos to targeted length and specifications
• Handles and organizes raw and edited video files
• Exports videos and facilitates mobile and web distribution
• Shoots video and produces content as necessary
• Explores different versions and directions
• Ensures compliance with highest journalist standards
• Adjusts formats and file sizes as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or higher in Fine Arts, 3D animation, or a related creative field OR three years of relevant professional experience
• Proficiency in computer animation programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Suite, Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Maya
• Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum of two years experience in animation/ video editor.
• Attention to detail
• Ideally, you have a portfolio of related work across several creative projects
• Strong analytical and technical skills along with artistic talent
• Time management and organizational skills
• Knowledge of layouts, animation fundamentals, special effects, and typography
• Experience with both print and digital media

Job Type: Full-time Salary: \xe2\x82\xb925,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb940,000.00 per month Schedule:
