Brightcove\'s Product Management team is modernizing, growing and innovating. This critical leadership role will head the Application Product Management, Product Design, and User Research teams, providing inspiration, strategy, direction, and focus to a talented team in motivating them to do their best work; and aligning the work to meet the strategic business direction of Brightcove. This leader will have expertise designing, building, and running B2B Enterprise SaaS Streaming products and experience with customer-centric tools and solutions that drive business success for our partners and customers - and \'wow and delight\' them from time to time. We\'re looking for candidates that can achieve 100x results - by thinking big and executing bigger. Candidates must be able to think in terms of the end-to-end user experience and create a world that drives usage and business results for our partners. In this role, you will be able to apply and fuel the team with passion, product gravitas, media strategy , information architecture, design, usability testing, and multi-platform experiences.

This role reports into the SVP, Head of Product.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspire, support, manage and grow a distributed team of product managers, designers, researchers, and managers at different stages of development to deliver high-quality work that meets business goals through a healthy culture of feedback and collaboration.
  • Partner with members of senior leadership across Brightcove and your cross-functional peers to set the strategy/vision of being the Most Trusted Partner in Streaming, and then drive that execution for our products, offering, and services
  • Build out the budget/resourcing plans for your domains.
  • Identify and advance initiatives that drive impact for the Product Management, Product Design and User Research team.
  • Ensure the user\'s voice is integrated into every step of the roadmap and design processes, and our products are rooted in a deep understanding of customer needs by aligning evaluative and foundational discovery efforts to high-priority initiatives.
  • Serve as the conduit between senior leadership team and managers to keep pace with rhythm of the business and roadmapping design and research efforts to organizational priorities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to loop your teams into the greater continuity of overall customer experience.

  • Apply & recommend process improvements within and across teams

Qualifications/Experience
  • 15+ years of professional experience designing interactive user experiences required, within B2B Enterprise Software environment preferred
  • Expertise in the Video and / or Streaming Space
  • Experience leading teams of 15 or more at various levels of experience; passion for coaching, developing, inspiring and motivating others to innovate and find meaning behind their work
  • Experience running Product Design and Product Management teams within the marketing technology/video/media industry - or similar - highly preferred
  • Excellent problem solving skills; creativity and tenacity in solving problems as one team; collaborative, honest, helpful and positive
  • Experience with analytics and data visualization
  • Experience with agile development (scrum)
  • User-centered agile design perspective and an understanding of design thinking
  • Well-developed instinct for the right solution to solve a problem, and the eye to know when it\'s crafted with excellence.
  • Effective and engaging communicator and storyteller to diverse audiences, able to craft and articulate anything from an inspiring vision to a tactical plan.
  • You have delivered meaningful business impact and user experience improvements through your leadership.
  • Strong collaboration skills; building genuine connections at various levels throughout the organization
  • Embeds continuous feedback within leadership style with a growth mindset; Looking for ways to improve and seek advice
  • Positive attitude with team player mentality, supporting diverse thoughts, learning styles, and working styles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to shifting priorities and focus
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Figma, or Sketch, Invision and Jira is critical
Targeted Base Salary Range: $245,000-$300,180

The base salary range listed above is across locations in the US. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to an applicant\'s experience, specialized skills, internal alignment and an applicant\'s work location.
