Hybrid Working We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We also have a flexible working process where, subject to business needs, all colleagues globally are able to request work patterns to reflect their personal circumstances These requests will be reviewed and agreed for a period of time i.e., will have a start and end date. Introduction: To Overall job purpose includes but is not restricted to be the Global Lead of P2P transactional processes. The role also includes managing a wide range of senior stakeholders towards delivering key value and output with respect to all Procure to Pay related platforms and processes globally . The incumbent will lead the implementation of COUPA pay ( card on Invoice ) Early payment discounts and all new country COUPA deployments The role holder will lead on global projects from Procure to Pay standpoint and contribute materially into design and delivery of world class platforms including processes. The incumbent would play a key role in contributing towards achievement of global Procurement Operations Projects as well. What will you be doing The role holder shall be accountable for: . Managing and delivering service related matters within the Global Invoice Management & Payment processes including COUPA Pay / Early payment Discount applications and any new Invoice management and payment applications that would get deployed in future . Ensuring process compliance from a Risk & Governance perspective which would include: o Being the key person to assess overall risks for the process from a global perspective and ensure all relevant controls are put in place o This would need the role holder to understand the various statutory requirements from a business standpoint across entities/ countries and design and run a suitably competent Risk Control Framework for the processes and teams outlined above . Represent Invoice Management / Payments / CPOUPA Pay & EPD on all Key Forums which include Business Review Sessions, Audits both Internal and External, Risk & Control Engagements with relevant business teams and periodic service/ business review meetings o Participate from an Operations standpoint including discussing and assessing system/ platform performance o Be the custodian of the data and Process and work with these business teams to enhance the overall offering o Be accountable for the management and usability systems and processes in scope to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, including responding effectively to clients needs and putting in practise emerging industry trends . Be the lead from Procure to Pay processes on various global Program Management Forums including o Be involved in all phases of project delivery, starting from blueprinting, implementation, testing, issue follow-up, training delivery and support o Support the education, awareness, training and communication on general aspects of vendor data tools and processes and also in relation to projects being delivered . Be the design owner for the Global IMT & Payments design o Act as the custodian of the IMT & Payments / blueprint (both system and process) in Barclays and take ownership of changes to be made to the blueprint from time to time to reflect new/ changed business requirements/processes o Be responsible for interacting with various stakeholder groups, principally the customers, to undertake business requirements and propose solutions which are in keeping with industry best practices . Be the Lead to deliver on large change on system and processes: o Work closely with Technology to provide support on UATs, Regression Testing and Associated Business related communications o Provide thought leadership/ SME input in review of change requests proposed by internal stakeholders and customers to optimise return on investment . Be responsible for delivery of key operational and project management activities including: o Addressing business outlier activities such as ORAC, RSAM, CITAM and any other Project Management support needed by Businesses . Supporting global programs such as Sanctions Attestations and related Project Management work streams . Represent risk related activities with Financial Crime Team, BIA, SOX, Internal and External Auditors. What we\'re looking for: . Completion of a formal degree in a numerate / technical / commercial subject . Relevant experience in managing global P2P functions of large organizations . Good understanding and hands on experience of key integration points across SAP modules particularly , Coupa and SAP ECC 6.0, writing of functional specifications understanding of technical features of SAP SRM is important when helping to guide the internal customer in their decisions . Expert working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access and Power Point skills . Should have worked as a lead responsible for delivering key global system and platform changes for multinationals of comparable scale and complexity . Some understanding of the configuration and more technical features of Coupa applications is important when helping to guide the internal customer in their decisions . Business specific: o Good understanding of the Procurement and Strategic Procurement Processes and the business application of sourcing software. o Programme/ Change management . Authority and effective influencing skills to carry out internal challenge to achieve maximum dissemination and usage of policy and agreed processes and ability to interact at all levels . Pragmatic with a logical and flexible approach to problem resolution . Develops effective peer & working relationships within/ across teams . Leverages understanding of customers/ consumers/ suppliers/ stakeholders to inform business decisions . Technology conversant to manage and help implement change and promote the use of new technology proven to provide cost reducing or value creating support . Self-starter, working on a broad brief, and happy to design proactively Skills that will help you in the role: . Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, including client facing and internal. . The ability to identify, address and where necessary escalate/manage key risks and issues. . Excellent time management and personal organisation skills. . Experience in people management to be able to build and sustain a motivated team . Should be able to develop guide Direct reports in their career planning and growth including high potential AVP\'s . A team player but self-starter and able to work on own initiative. .
