Job Title Vice President of Operations Reports To Chief Executive Officer Job Purpose The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for leading, managing, and directing the company\'s operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. The incumbent will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational performance of the company, including managing day-to-day operations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and optimizing processes and resources. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Management Provide strategic leadership, direction, and guidance to the Operations team. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of the business. Manage and mentor the operations team to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance. Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and collaboration. Operational Excellence Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and optimize resources. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices. Monitor operational performance and provide regular reports to the CEO. Supply Chain Management Oversee the management of the supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Optimize supply chain processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency. Quality Management Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure product and service quality. Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulations. Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Financial Management Develop and manage the Operations budget. Ensure the company operates within the budgetary guidelines and achieves financial targets. Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase profitability. Risk Management Identify and assess operational risks and develop risk mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. Represent the company at industry events and conferences. Qualifications Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in Facility Management. Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams. Proven track record of implementing operational strategies and driving continuous improvement. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and financial management skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
