Job Description


Meta is looking for a Vertical leader to manage the mid market portfolio of accounts across a range of high growth industries like Media, Technology, Auto, etc. This position will be directly responsible for leading a team of Account Managers. The role involves enabling clients to get efficient results from their marketing campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp through solutioning optimization, and support. This position will be responsible for working with XFN functional teams across the organisation to provide a seamless the client experience. Ideal candidates will be able to coach and develop team members, have keen analytical skills to identify the root cause of a problem, and take data based decisions that help drive Meta's revenues. Success in this position requires strong sales orientation, people management skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment with a passion for helping others achieve results.


Vertical Lead, Mid Market Team, India SMB Responsibilities:

  • Lead a high-performing team of Account Managers focussed on providing best in class account servicing to Meta's top growth accounts
  • Understand key vertical trends, identify accounts to service, build an industry specific narrative for the verticals managed
  • Identifying actionable insights to improve client results and team strategy with a strong focus on emerging Meta solutions like Business messaging
  • Directly manage the top 10-20 large accounts in addition to working with team on the business
  • Institutionalize Test and learns in the vertical coupled with driving best in class solutioning practices such as CAPI, incrementality tests, etc.
  • Collaborating with internal XFN teams: Creative, Measurement, GBM, Business Planning and Finance to drive revenue and improve client experience
  • Responsible for building sales forecasts, maintain CRM hygiene, undertake regular portfolio planning
  • Represent the voice of customer to Meta's product teams, and indirectly influence product roadmaps and customer experience



Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 years of professional experience - Preferably in Sales / Marketing / Management consultancy
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with large digital first clients
  • Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem in India.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of performance market landscape, agency ecosystem
  • At least 6 years in Digital Platform Sales
  • People Management Experience of a minimum of 2 years
  • An MBA degree is preferred but not mandatory for the role
