Job Description
- 5 to 10 years of experience on Vertica database administration
- Understanding of Vertica architecture & migrate, install, configure, manage Vertica system and managing Vertica backup and recovery and restore
- Should have proven experience in handling min of 6 node cluster with 10TB data
- should have strong knowledge of vertica internals, capacity planning and trouble shooting
- Should have hands-on experience on DB design, query development, backup, recovery and performance tuning
- Sound have strong debugging skills to investigate query performance
- Ability to troubleshoot unix/linux system logs and understand and determine issues at OS/DB level and fixes.
- Ability to understand tcp/kernel parameter and able to relate it to Vertica parameter setting and effect.
Contract length: 36 months
Part-time hours: 40 per weekPay: From ?2,075,672.02 per yearSchedule:
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- US shift
