Venture Growth Manager
POSITION PURPOSE:

We have established a dedicated corporate venture team to drive digital solutions for agriculture. This team will bring together people with different professional skills, expertise and backgrounds to focus on innovative digital solutions for farmers across India. As a member of this team, you will be part of a Silicon-Valley-startup type internal venture within Bayer and you have the chance to shape the future of digital agriculture in a fast-moving environment full of opportunities.
Bayer aims to empower smallholder farmers in rural India by creating an digitally-enabled ecosystem platform to help farmers gain access to financing, best-in-class inputs, agronomic know-how and linkage to markets. The main purpose of the role of the Growth Manager is to drive commercial scaling of Bayer\'s ecosystem platform (lead transition from pre-launch to full national launch). This needs commercial activation in multiple states and includes adaption of product value proposition to local requirements to drive commercial growth. It also involves activating both internal and external stakeholders such as farmers, farmer cooperatives, crop traders & processors, financial institutions, farm input and machinery providers.
As a Growth Manager, you develop the ecosystem platform\'s growth plan, coordinate and execute growth programs using clear performance metrics and data-driven user insights and optimize the revenue funnel towards a repeatable model.
