Roles and Responsibilities Participate in and lead client/ internal engagements like valuation of financial Instruments,
hedge effectiveness measurement, Computation of credit valuation adjustments (CVA/DVA),
Computation of Expected Credit Loss (ECL) and evaluation of embedded derivative, etc.
Work effectively as a team member through shared responsibility, provide management
oversight and direction to junior team members of the team, maintain clear communication
with internal and external clients, and update senior team members on progress of
deliverables under your direct responsibility
Take responsibility in preparation and review of reports and other deliverables that will be
delivered to clients and other parties
Develop and maintain strong and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders
and client personnel
Skills and attributes for success
Experience within a Valuation Control or Product Control or Market Risk within Investment
Banking.
Strong technical knowledge in pricing / valuation of various financial instruments such as
Derivative Instruments (including exotic), Fixed Income Securities, Market Linked Securities,
Commodity Derivatives etc.
In-depth understanding of Interest rate curve construction (Bootstrapping) and Currency
volatility surface creation, deriving the Forward points form Interest rate differentials,
Computation of Credit valuation adjustments etc.
Exposure to various treasury management Systems / Bloomberg / Reuters especially around
valuation of derivative Instruments, hedge accounting will be preferred.
Commercial acumen to help practice to grow by continuous innovation and new solutions.
