We are on a quest to find a UX Researcher to join our growing UXD practice at Springer Nature and work on products across Data Analytics Solutions. (Early Joiners preferred)

You\'ll be part of the global UXD practice at Springer Nature and you\'ll work with colleagues around the world. You will join a cross functional team with different nationalities, backgrounds and experience levels.

About the Unit

The Data & Analytics Solutions - IT team is responsible for providing the necessary technical and domain expertise required to create and maintain the databases and shared services for our end customers. Our flagship products namely SpringerMaterials, Experiments and ADIS Insight are built by a team of developers, QAs, BAs, UI & UX experts and SMEs, who collaborate to ensure easy accessibility of relevant data. We follow a problem statement and user experience driven approach to ensure the right data is available in the simplistic way for the scientific community.

About the Team:

About the team: Our Data & Knowledge Technologies team, distributed across Heidelberg - Germany, Pune - India, and London, UK, is working on all aspects of the data-value creation chain for our scientific data & analytics solutions. Sometimes you\'ll work across teams and brands, other times you\'ll work closely with a specific team and be an active part of their daily product development. Our teams deliver iteratively, and testing prototypes is a part of our way of working. You would engage with our global UXD practice and make lots of new friends.

Job Location: Tower 9, Magarpatta City, Pune. (Working in Hybrid Model)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor\'s degree in Design or Graduation in a relevant field

What you will be doing:

Working closely with designers and the product team to identify research questions and hypotheses.

Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research projects with multiple product teams.

Analyze research results and convey relevant insights to the appropriate stakeholder in the most engaging and actionable manner

Use other data available (market research, analytics, customer service team insights) to shape the most appropriate user research that will offer deeper insights into how our researchers are using the vast and complex landscape of services to achieve their goals

Share findings within the project, domain, and UX team.

Contribute to community training run by the UX Research team

Requirements:

3-5 years if industry experience in driving UX research alongside product teams

You have experience in researching the different stages of product development and you are always willing to try out new approaches to share and apply the findings of your research

You can communicate your research in a way that it\'s easy for stakeholders to understand how to act on

You have experience working with remote teams and you always do your best to involve stakeholders and team members from other countries in your research activities

You have experience managing projects involving cross functional teams
