Utility Helper/Kitchen Steward The Utility Helper/Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining kitchen operations by ensuring all dishes, utensils, pots, pans and other kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and stored. They play a vital role in maintaining health, safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
Expected Start Date: 01/06/2024
- Collect soiled dishes, pots, pans and utensils from the kitchen and dining areas
- Properly scrape, rinse, soak and wash all dishes and cookware
- Operate industrial dishwashing machines and pot sinks to clean items
- Ensure all cleaned items are sanitized according to health codes
- Properly store and organize clean dishes, cookware and utensils
- Clean and maintain dishwashing areas, sinks, machines and ware washing stations
- Dispose of trash and recycling from the kitchen properly
- Restock cleaning supplies as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Food provided
