: As a User Experience Designer, you will help define and design solutions that help make our customerslives easier, healthier and happier. Your primary focus will be creating and testing user interfacedesigns, interaction models, and prototypes as we continue to improve all Hy-Vee and Divisional digitalproducts, including the Hy-Vee mobile app and other web applications. You\'ll work cross-functionally ona variety of projects supporting the shopper journey. For this role, we are looking for strong interactiondesigner who understands usability heuristics and web accessibility standards.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with agile teams to continually improve the online customer experience Communicate the benefits of user experience activities Work with stakeholders, Product Owners and Engineers to understand and define problems Plan and conduct user research Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes Define and refine Hy-Vee design system Engage in productive and constructive design critique sessions with peers Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement Interpret quantitative and qualitative data Present research findings that tell a compelling story about the user experience Work with developers who build interface designs, ensuring quality and accessibility Keep abreast of design standards, best practices, competitive products, trends and insights A STRONG CANDIDATE WILL ALSO HAVE Portfolio of projects, demonstrating the application of interaction design, information architecture, visual design and accessibility fundamentals Must be comfortable working independently and under tight deadlines for high priority projects Proficient in design software including Photoshop and Figma. Knowledge of responsive web design and native app design best practices Experience planning and conducting user research using a variety of methods is preferred Experience working with and contributing to a Design System is a plus Experience working with Agile development teams is a plus Experience and Education Bachelor degree preferred, or relevant experience.
