Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned user experience designer to join our UX team. As a member of Fluke User Experience Design team, the UX/UI Designer will design, specify, and validate functional and intuitive user interfaces for highly usable Cloud, Mobility, Web and Desktop solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interact with Product Owners /Product Managers to understand and refine user requirements and address UI & UX issues.
  • Conceptualize and communicate physical and graphical UI designs in the form of storyboards, wireframes, or click-through prototypes.
  • Review UI designs with peers in UX and product teams and with project team leads.
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct interviews, contextual inquiry, concept validation, or usability testing.
  • Analyze user workflows, study results, or user feedback and make recommendations.
  • Work closely with Front-End Software Engineers to formalize and implement UI designs.
  • Participate in professional organizations to keep current on best practices and help with continuous improvement of the UI process as practiced by Fluke.
  • Maintain and improve UI design standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or required by the UX Design Group.
Job Expectations:
  • Will work on assigned tasks as part of a product development team or UX team, often for more than one project.
  • Will communicate the status of all project activities to the UX team and team managers, identifying areas of risk.
  • Will bring prior experience and knowledge into discussions with peers to define cross-platform designs, standards, and user experience processes.
  • Will participate in user research activities
  • Will coordinate with Product Managers / Product Owners / SME's to understand end user needs.
  • Will make occasional visits to manufacturing facilities and customer sites, including overseas travel with trips up to two weeks in length.
  • Will need to meet project deadlines, which may require attending morning or evening meetings. Skills Requirements
  • Experience and knowledge of concepts and practices relating to the design and evaluation of Human-Computer Interaction.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and present new design concepts with strong verbal, written, and visual skills (with fluency in English).
  • Interpersonal skills, technical communication, efficient task management, and self-motivation.
  • Strong working knowledge design, wireframing and prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch, Figma or InVision.
Skills Desired :
  • Experience with and knowledge of mobile devices, web and desktop application systems in an industrial context.
  • Experience working with Agile / Lean Software Development teams.
  • Fluency in English.
Qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Industrial Design, Usability Engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years practical UI/UX design, industrial design, user research, or similar work experience.
  • Good Academic Records with
60% marks and no gaps
