Job Description


Bangalore candidates will be preferred.

Description of Position : The position manages the weekly payroll, responds to and resolves complex payroll issues, research regulatory requirements for a variety of payroll topics, completes all pertinent documentation, coordinates the payroll close process and helps to ensure payroll accuracy for approximately 800 employees.
Minimum Qualification:

- Two-year degree in accounting or related field; a high school diploma/GED and four years of general accounts transaction experience.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writing

- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Word and Excel

- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and accurate data entry

- Demonstrated experience running reports from financial or operational systems and experience reconciling results

- Experience working as a member of a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in a payroll or human resources department

- Time and Labor and/or Absence Management experience a plus

- Experience using databases and basic understanding of data integrity

- Team player, enjoys working with people,

- Effective problem solving, organizational, and time management skills

Major Job Responsibilities:

- Process Payroll Related Documents

- Review incoming HR and payroll documents for accuracy, and validity. Process and forward documents for new hires, terminations, resignations, FMLA, and other leaves. Consult with payroll contacts concerning payroll errors and off-cycle corrections.

- On-boards new hires, provide payroll orientation and explain policies and procedures. Identify potential leave of absence situations, work with supervisors and Human Resources regarding Layoffs, and maintain departmental files for employees.

Essential Functions of Position: Review and analyze daily and weekly timecard entry; field support; leave of absence reporting and maintenance, vacation and sick leave reporting and maintenance; explain complex rules and policies, interpreting for specific situations; payroll personnel document preparation; payroll database updates and maintenance; ensure private data is managed in compliance with HIPPA and Human Resources
