Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Purchase Executive to manage the procurement activities of our electrical hardware manufacturing unit in Dhulagarh. The ideal candidate should have a strong vendor base, sound knowledge of sourcing engineering components and materials, and experience working in companies with ?100 Cr+ turnover in a similar industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and maintain vendor relationships and ensure timely procurement of materials and consumables.
Negotiate price, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
Manage end-to-end procurement process including requisition, purchase order creation, follow-ups, and delivery.
Source new vendors and continuously evaluate existing suppliers for performance, pricing, and quality.
Coordinate with the store, accounts, and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
Analyze market trends to forecast material cost fluctuations and availability.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile:
B.E. (Mechanical) with 4-5 years of experience in a similar electrical hardware or manufacturing industry.
Strong vendor database and sourcing experience, preferably in companies with ?100 Cr+ turnover.
Solid understanding of engineering materials, MROs, and consumables used in electrical manufacturing.
Proven negotiation and cost-saving skills.
Proficient in ERP systems and MS Excel.
Strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Industry: Electrical Equipment / Hardware / Industrial Manufacturing
