The Position / About The Job In this job the Unit Manager - Fittings would be responsible for: Key Tasks And Responsibilities Responsible for the performance, Productivity, and output of the unit, including financial responsibility. Set and follow up targets for the unit, broken down from factory level. Drive the development of the unit. Participate in making the Operational plan Make costing updates for the unit. Support Problem Solving & Improvement activities. Understand and deal with the real problems of the unit by being present. Involved in new product development and give input to EPD (Existing Product Development) Secure the result of Continuous Improvement activities in the unit, including Lean Six Sigma and 5S Perform audits according to ALPS Responsible for that Supply chain processes within the unit are implemented and maintained. Very close coordination with internal customers like the Order handler. People development & change management. Identifying the bottlenecks & and act with the speed to eliminate it. A close eye on weekly order situations & and necessary changes in resource management. Responsible for developing a TAKT culture & and improving step by step. Responsible for ALPS Sustainability initiatives and Performance Safety of the people, processes, and manufactured/delivered products Quality + Q-system delivery cost, competitiveness. What you can be Qualifications & Experience B.E. Mechanical / Diploma Mechanical Engineering. Leadership and management skills and experience 7 to 10 years of experience in production/manufacturing. Experience in continuous improvement tools, e g Six Sigma, Lean. Project work experience People Mangers skills & and experience Handling of blue-collar workmen experience is a must.
