UI/UX Expert

Brand Studio is a Creative Communication Agency catering to the Atlas Copco Group. We provide creative services to all companies and brands under the Atlas Copco umbrella worldwide. Our main customers are located in Europe. However, we work with companies on all continents and in most time zones. Our current portfolio spans 15+ brands.

The mission of a UX/UI expert is to create user-centered design solutions that effectively solve user problems and meet business goals. This involves conducting user research, developing wireframes and prototypes, and iterating on design solutions based on user feedback. As UX/UI expert works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet project goals and timelines while maintaining consistency and brand identity. Ultimately, the mission of a UX/UI expert is to deliver high-quality design solutions that improve the user experience and drive business success

Responsibilities

• Conducting user research to understand user needs and pain points.
• Developing user personas and creating user journeys to inform design decisions.
• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile applications.
• Conducting usability testing to validate design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure that design decisions align with business goals and user needs.
• Ensuring consistency and coherence across all aspects of the user interface, including visual design, typography, and interaction design.
• Developing design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability of design solutions.
• Conducting heuristic evaluations to identify areas for improvement in the user interface.
• Creating and maintaining design documentation and design assets.
• Continuously iterating on designs based on feedback and user research

Experience requirements

• Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodology.
• Requires strong comprehension of Brand guidelines.
• Ability to conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ability to work within the development framework.
• Understanding of information architecture and content strategy.
• Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Knowledge of design systems and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to solve complex design problems.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present design concepts to stakeholders.
• Continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Knowledge/Educational requirements

• Bachelor\'s in Applied Arts or Master\'s in Design - User Experience or any equivalent courses
• Diploma or certification in UI/UX design
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant field
• International experience is an advantage, either through work abroad or through working with international companies and customers
