BUK & BX - All locations We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. Introduction: You will be part of the leadership team working with peers to ensure best practices are adopted by all teams and developing a delivery strategy to refine and improve the methods in which solutions and services are delivered. You will be Responsible for creating technology solutions to meet business requirements, in line with Cluster and Group IT Strategies and Architectures. Working with the relevant Project Manager, Lead Solutions Designer, or Technology Partner you will be responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the original solution objectives. What we\'re looking for: . Responsible for creating technology solutions to meet business requirements, in line with Cluster and Group IT Strategies and Architectures. . Takes responsibility for ensuring that solutions adhere to architectural, quality standards and policies. . Working with the relevant project manager and Lead Solutions Architect, responsible for ensuring that the outcomes delivered by projects are consistent with the solution specified. This will be achieved by reviewing project design artefacts and the impact of significant change requests. . Provide hands on software development at a senior level to include design, software development, automated testing and automated deployment . Keeps up-to-date on the wider industry regulations, standards and trends. . Maintain and contributes to current developments in the relevant technical specialism (s) within Technology. . Decision-making and problem solving . Promotion of innovation, quality and exploration of new ideas as a culture Skills that will help you in the role : 1. Hands on 10+ years of experience in UI development like React Angular, CSS, Restful APIs, Redux. 2. React experience should be 5+ years 3. Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS concepts & standards 4. Ability to create clean and structured CSS which matches UI designs 5. SASS 6. Expert knowledge of ES6 Javascript 7. In depth knowledge of React 16+ functionality and architecture 8. Redux 9. Javascript functional programming 10. React custom hooks 11. W3C Accessibility standards 12. Experience with writing unit tests with Enzyme/Jest 13. Experience with UI Libraries 14. Experience with creating own UI components 15. Experience with creation and maintenance of own component libraries 16. Restful APIs 17. NPM 18. Experience in handling of branching and merging in GIT 19. NodeJS, Express 20. BitBucket 21. Experience with Jenkins would be a plus What will you be doing . Experience of working within Financial Services . Experience of working with RDBMS development experience (e.g. Oracle) & SQL skills . Experience of using the Git source code control system . Experience to develop software for multiple Operating Systems (e.g. Linux, Windows) . Experience of working within a regulatory driven change environment . Knowledge on UI technologies like HTML, JSP, Java Script, Angular JSAppreciation of Event Driven Architecture & Domain Driven Design . Experience of working on Nexus, Groovy, . Experience of using the Git source code control system .
