Position: SE / SSE / Staff Location: Pune OR Bangalore OR Hyderabad India

• As a SE/SSE, you will help lead, design, enhance, and build our solutions meant for customers in an agile, fast-paced environment. You will be working with colleagues across the company, who will help support and challenge you every day.
• Collaborate with the rest of the UI team, the backend engineering team, and product management to design and implement new features and enhancements for our next-gen customer web application. Change this to next-gen Cloud Security Product.
• Design and develop new systems as well as enhancements and fixing defects in existing software.
• Play a key role to understand high-level product requirements and help the team translate that to low-level engineering design for new features
• Lead meetings and discussions with product and architecture teams
• Develop reusable components, UI widgets, and data visualizations to extend our front-end architecture.
• Work with QA and other engineering teams to investigate and resolve production issues.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience developing web applications, primarily UI.
• Experience with client-side MVC/MVVM frameworks (e.g. ReactJs, Backbone) - Preferably React.
• Intermediate to advanced JavaScript coding skills.
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience working with state management architecture such as Redux, Flux is required.
• Strong foundation in requirements scoping, data structures, algorithms, instrumenting and performance benchmarking, problem-solving and complexity analysis.
• Experience with browser debugging and profiling tools.
• Understanding of browser debugging tools, devtools including using of chrome extensions such as react, redux, and firefox extensions such as firebug.
• Ability to develop cross-browser functioning web pages, thorough understanding of Object Oriented Javascript.
• Familiarity with the DOM API and AJAX.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• A strong team player.

It would be great if you have:

• Experience with jQuery.
• Experience in Networking or Cloud Security products.
• Developed enterprise or B2B applications.
• Worked with REST APIs.
• Experience with version control, defect tracking, and build systems.
• Knowledge of UI/UX concepts and best practices.
