Job Role: U-Studio Manager Work Location: Mumbai HQ ABOUT THE ROLE: The U-Studio Editor is a One Unilever role, ultimately responsible for driving quality and adoption of their U-Studio, as well as driving learnings and best practices from across the U-Studio network in service of Unilever and the brands within their U-Studio. Editors manage relationships with Brand Teams or other functions within Unilever, partnering with U-Studio and Unilever to seek opportunities for delivering more value via U-Studio. The Editor is responsible for ensuring that the studio runs smoothly and meets brands\' needs. The three main KPIs of U-Studio are, Quality, Agility, and Cost (savings). Here is what your day at Unilever would look like: A. QUALITY Ultimate quality control of anything delivered via U-Studio Ensuring Unilever\'s ED&I and Sustainability goals are at the heart of work delivered via UStudio Input on complex briefs, and involvement in key projects Ensuring the U-Studio team has received training and is onboarded for all the brands they are working with, and Unilever\'s tech stack Ensuring compliance with Unilever\'s ways of working, guardianship, and brand guidelines Collaboration with the Global U-Studio team and U-Studio network for leverage, consistency, and brand guardianship Building best practices in partner relationships B. AGILITY Ensuring U-Studio SLAs are achieved Ensuring U-Studio facilities are in order, connecting to internal Unilever functions (workplace services, Geo IT) as needed. Working with the local U-Studio team to ensure the right level and type of resources are in place to meet the work coming into U-Studio Ensuring U-Studio is a future-fit considering any locally specific channels or trends. C. COST Partnering with senior management, brands, and Functions (e.g. Procurement, Finance) to drive the right scope into U-Studio Local U-studio comms plan development and implementation Overseeing quoting of any Bespoke projects Key Interfaces: Brand teams as relevant per U-Studio location DMC Strategy and Content teams (per BU) - for visibility of work/forecast for U-Studio coming via these teams CDCO Global U-Studio leadership - overall owners of U-Studio network, responsible for Editor network onboarding and governance U-Studio Editor network - regular monthly meetings sharing learnings and best practices Regional and Global Network - driving leverage and consistency of quality across the network Agency leadership - both local and global for resourcing and support Finance and Procurement - demonstrating savings and helping to drive the right scope of work to U-Studio. Reporting Lines: The Editor will have a matrix reporting structure: Local Line Manager - to ensure that vision and work are meeting all category/brand needs. Editor-in-Chief (Global Marketing) - to ensure that best-in-class is delivered across the UStudio network. Previous Experience: This person will likely have: a publishing and/or content creation background run an online magazine or website worked in a creative or digital agency environment servicing brands and marketing clients Key Skills: An eye for detail Strong hands-on understanding of digital commerce, Digital Advertising, and Needs Content, including the process of how they are created Digital Marketing, including Influencer - strong understanding of the overall digital channel and format mix, the roles for channels, appropriate measures of success Social, Content, and Community Management - strong understanding of social media platform channels, their roles within the social channel mix, and what types of Advertising / Content work best in each environment An understanding of Brand Strategy and how this affects channel and asset choices An understanding of Brand Positioning and Advertising planning/strategy and execution Creative judgment, ability to spot ideas and champion them. Ability to question conventional methodologies and look for the truth in the facts. Excellent written and verbal communication and team collaboration skills.
