Illustrative Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for turnkey projects in Govt. / Private Business covering estimation, initiation, cost control etc.
  • Responsible for Execution and maintenance of turnkey projects in Govt. / Private Business covering quality control, progress monitoring, cost control etc.
  • Establish strong communication channels and partnerships with teams within and outside the company;
  • Providing strategic support to all key stakeholders in company related to turnkey work progress and updates;
  • Assist the Project Managers team for timely and quality turnkey work execution
  • Coordination with various vendors for ongoing projects progress and send regular updates to team
  • Verification of Bill of projects
  • Put in place proper process for initiation, planning, quality and ensure proper monitoring mechanism / checks.
  • The range of such projects would be between 10 Lacs to 1.5 Cr, and the no. could range between 20-40 projects per year
  • Working with Procurement team to ensure proper supplier / contractor selection / assessment as required from time to time
  • Work with Govt. tender teams / sales teams to understand the tender specifications and quote for the turnkey projects covering all aspects of such projects (estimations, drawings, BOQ, schedule of finishes, specifications, etc.)
  • Put in place proper process for estimation, outsourced partners, contractors / suppliers and ensure proper monitoring mechanism / checks.
  • Reduce turnkey project costs by adopting new strategies, controls, etc.
  • Put in place quality systems to ensure quality assurance of turnkey projects.
  • Drive improvement mind-set and coach / train team for growth and development on functional and managerial effectiveness
  • Ensure GBP adherence & proper conduct with suppliers, contractors, etc.
Minimum Requirements (Qualification & Experience) Education:
  • B.E./ B. Tech. (Civil preferably or any)
  • PMP certified preferred.
Experience:
  • 5 to 6 years of Execution
  • Should have experience in BOQ.
  • Adept at handling civil contracts / building works / turnkey contracts covering estimation, costing, BOQ formulation, working with contractors, consultants, PMCs, architects, etc.
  • Should have experience of supervision/management of civil works on turnkey basis (estimation, planning and execution to handover).
  • Should have knowledge of civil work, construction materials, processes and quality control, MB Checks, cost controls, etc.
  • Tendering and bidding for civil / turnkey projects, attending pre-bid meetings, working with customers, contractors, civil suppliers, etc.
  • Commercial aspects of civil procurement including taxation, Govt. levies, logistics issues, etc,
  • Should have hands-on experience on PM Tools, AUTO CAD, MPP scheduling
