Key Responsibilities
Operate the
Travel Desk
and provide information about local attractions, activities, and tours.
Arrange
airport/railway transfers, taxis, jeeps, self-drive cars, and two-wheeler rentals
for guests.
Design and sell
day trips, half-day tours, and multi-day itineraries
tailored to guest preferences.
Coordinate with
local tour operators, drivers, and guides
ensuring quality and safety.
Assist guests with
flight/train/bus ticketing
through authorized agents.
Promote and upsell
resort-curated experiences
(plantation walks, cooking classes, cultural shows, Ayurveda).
Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and commissions.
Handle guest queries/complaints promptly with courtesy.
Keep updated on
new attractions, government tourism regulations, and seasonal activities
in Wayanad.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in
Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or related field
.
1-3 years' experience
in travel agency/resort/hospitality sector.
Excellent communication in
English + Malayalam
(Hindi and other Indian languages are an added advantage).
Knowledge of
Wayanad tourist attractions and Kerala tourism rules
.
Computer literacy: MS Office, email, WhatsApp/CRM booking tools.
Guest-first attitude, sales ability, and problem-solving skills.
Salary & Benefits
Fixed Salary
: ₹20,000 - ?25,000/month (depending on experience).
