Job Title: Transport Coordinator Function: Front Office Location: Lonavala Primary Purpose Is to assist the Manager Transport in the oversight, coordinate with Front Office team to assist guest with their movement within the premises and maintenance of Resort vehicles basically, guest cars. Major skills and accountabilities of position (4-6 major accountabilities) 1. Should have proficiency in MS Office and electronic communication methods. 2. Excellent knowledge on local attractions and financials involved in hiring rental cars. 3. Should have good communication and excellent negotiation skills. 4. Must be resourceful and able to find solutions. Duties and Responsibilities 1. Should work closely with the Manager Transport to ensure safe, effective, efficient and responsive service to guests. 2. Should coordinate with front office team to assist guest with their movement within the premises. 3. Should ensure that cars are available at various venues/locations to assist in smooth check-ins/outs. 4. Should evaluate and develop strategies for improvement and report suggested changes. 5. Should Assist with ongoing orientation, training, and evaluation of the drivers. 6. Should follow up with transport vendors to hire valets on daily wages as per requirement during events. 7. Should report areas of concern and non-compliance. Work relations (context - main interfaces - functional report) 1. Reports to Manager Transport - FO. 2. Interfaces strongly with Guests and departmental employees. Experience and qualifications required for the job Should be a Graduate equivalent. Experience in hotel, leisure with experience of 3-4 years. A minimum of 2 years as a supervisor transport is essential.
