Position: TRANSPORT MANAGER Location: Navi Mumbai Qualification:- A candidate should be minimum graduate, Masters in Shipping and Logistics. Unique Job role :- A candidate should be well versed with communication skills (English and Hindi), basic computer knowledge and negotiation skills with shippers/liners/cfs/ transporters . Candidate should be well versed with communication skills with clientele and associates and maintaining good relation with them. Salary: Up to 12 LPA Experience:- Minimum 8 to 10 years in the field of Shipping and transportation. Job Responsibilities:- \xe2\x80\xa2 Develop a market strategy focused both on customer satisfaction and financial gain. \xe2\x80\xa2 Overseeing the maintenance of vehicles and equipment to ensure it meets legal and safety regulations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers in order to find new ways to reduce costs or improve efficiency in operations \xe2\x80\xa2 should have knowledge of import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures. \xe2\x80\xa2should have complete knowledge of container sea freight , cargo clearing and cfs activities as well as road transportation and service idea for the same. \xe2\x80\xa2 Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide trustworthy after-sales support. \xe2\x80\xa2 Back office work (merchandise and product details). \xe2\x80\xa2 Arrange for domestic transportation, warehousing/cfs & sea freight of imported or exported goods as well as domestic movements as well . \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate logistics or other business operations. \xe2\x80\xa2 Drive the CRM distribution strategy, including facilitating any local content creation \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage assigned customer and budget base \xe2\x80\xa2 Research and analyze competitive and industry trends \xe2\x80\xa2 Arrange business meetings with prospective clients \xe2\x80\xa2 With door-to-door shipping, examining the delivery and pick-up of goods at the locations requested by the end customer. \xe2\x80\xa2 Update daily commercial/sales/ purchases/ operations ( discuss with the concerned department/management, execute it and monitor closely to get shipments smoothly done).
