Work Location: Remote (except India)

How You'll Make an Impact

+ Develop and maintain standardized component requirements across global projects
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to unify material specifications
+ Define and drive material standardization for specifications and sizes
+ Clarify global test methods for critical quality parameters
+ Provide technical expertise to sourcing teams for supplier evaluation
+ Support negotiations on technical requirements with suppliers
+ Act as a technical guide for project teams on component engineering
+ Stay current with advancements in component technologies and materials

Your Background

+ Bachelor's or Master's in Material Science, Engineering, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering (Ph.D. with 2-3 years of experience also considered)
+ Minimum 5 years of industry experience
+ Experience in transformer industry and supplier technology development preferred
+ Strong knowledge of component engineering and material specifications
+ Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill is a plus
+ Excellent collaboration and communication skills
