Position Overview
Statement
The Trading/ Technical BA Team Lead position is part of the SSGA India IT ATS BA group. The primary responsibility of the individual in this role is to coordinate and oversee project execution handled by the internal teams - Trading/ Tech BA/ Connectivity & Investment Oversight, Regulatory Reporting and Derivatives IT teams and also external vendors across global locations. As part of the role, he/she owns all planning / communications / status updates to stake holders for projects.
Duties And Responsibilities

  • Act as a point of contact for project requests of technical and business nature and act as a liaison for both internal and external stakeholders for processing of such projects.
  • Track project requests through its life cycle from the request inception to resolution. Provide proactive & clear communication of status and updates at any point to internal and external stakeholders and management.
  • Collaborate with functional leads or managers to lay emphasis on priority and seek information on capacity and estimations. Incorporate such inputs in project plans.
  • Communicate between functional teams for service requests that require cross functional participation and coordination
  • Identify and lead process improvement projects out of Bangalore.
  • Provide formal project management for new projects and initiatives including innovations so as to manage them professionally as a project going through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closures and finally production.
  • Create regular metrics reports and distribute to stakeholders. Communication forms a key responsibility. Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management; participate in service level reviews.
  • Deep understanding of the Trading life cycle to manage tasks, activities and projects in scope in addition to Coordinating with Local BA/QA & development & support teams.
  • Function as a second line of defense to ensure accuracy, completeness and high quality of deliverables
  • Perform independent review of proposed solution and implementation steps
  • Work with Global Project / Program managers and globally distributed project teams to ensure success of the project
  • Some other responsibilities may include – help in overall strategy for audit and reviews, project management, risk management and local coordination and event planning of Business continuity and DR exercises.
