Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Operations and Compliance Analyst will apply comprehensive trade compliance operations knowledge to perform a range of moderate to complex activities. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external business partners to drive continuous improvement. Key functions will be to understand internal customers\' (BUs) requirements and to provide sustainable and compliant solutions in the area of Export Import and foreign trade operations.
As a Trade compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for export Import operations and compliance for the products Cargill exports/Import across the globe. You will be SME for giving support services for different BUs for day-to-day customs clearances, new regulations, valuations, HS classifications, PGA requirements, Export incentives schemes, Import incentives, FTAs, Duty Drawback, and post clearance compliance for all activities. You will have to collaborate with the supply chain, procurement, logistics, legal, and tax team to give the best services to BUs. You will also be part of all global cross-border projects, cost savings projects, new trade initiatives etc. Key Accountabilities

Coordinate global trade and compliance operations such as Customs clearance for import and export within a country or region within stipulated period to meet business goals.
Apply a substantial understanding of global trade compliance operations practices and procedures to execute transactions.
Ensure documents and data meet legal and fiscal requirements and records are maintained in accordance with guidelines. Ensuring all documentary compliance /statutory compliance before arrival of shipments. (FTAs/NOCs/Exemptions/HSN)
Independently validate and coordinate import and export transactional data and document requirements to complete cross-border filings and clearance. Ensuring applicability of all eligible incentives (RODTEP/Duty Drawback etc./Duty exemptions notifications/FTAs) and record keeping for post clearance compliances.
Execute and complete medium-impact internal global trade and compliance project.
Develop and maintain relationships with standard partners to implement cross-border solutions to support organizational goals. Reply drafting for Customs query/SCN/Demand letter etc.
Record, monitor and analyze compliance operations key performance indicators for the location.
Process improvements, SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) drafting and Standardization for export import operations
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Co-ordinating with internal and external stakeholders for various key activities related to AEO/SVB
Co-ordinating, follow up and evaluation of CHA performance for export and import activities and placing monitoring and control measures.
Daily tracking of Ice gate portal/DGFT portal/CBEC portal /Customs portal for various updates Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of foreign exchange controls
Minimum of two years of related work experience
Other minimum qualifications may apply

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2-4 Years of experience
Customs Broker License or equivalent strongly preferred
Experience managing SAP and global trade services
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Preferred qualification is MCOM/MBA in Foreign trade/BE/B-Tech
Person having exposure to FMCG/Chemical/Animal nutrition industry will have added advantages.
