As the Portfolio Implementation professional in our team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver critical and time sensitive processes with high level of accuracy within agreed timelines
  • Pre trade monitoring of risk and identifying accounts to be traded by the Portfolio Managers
  • Assist Wealth Management portfolio managers with account maintenance and account trading inquiries
  • Re-engineering processes, procedures, and business architecture u sing technology like Alteryx, Python, Tableau
  • Review, monitor and report performance of client accounts and portfolios. Example: Prepare Key Performance Indicator (KPI) packs
  • Implementing timely and accurate trades in the accounts based on the guidelines from the Chief Investment Office
  • Understanding orders and send trades to fulfill the following typical daily tasks:
    • New account initial investments
    • Monitoring cash and security activity in client accounts
    • Liquidating accounts
    • Tax harvesting requests

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Post Graduation in Finance with 8 to 10 years of work experience in the financial services industry.
  • Understanding of all relevant investment products (managed accounts, equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs)
  • Demonstrated passion and understanding of financial markets
  • Ability to operate in a fast-moving, demanding, and team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for his/her actions and results at all times

Desired qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Exposure to portfolio monitoring/risk or related function preferred
  • Experience with scripting languages and/or data analysis tools like Alteryx, Python, Tableau and VBA preferred
  • Strong problem-solving, control, and project management skills
