What you'll do

You’ll be supporting trade and transaction reporting. This will include submissions to regulators for trade and transaction reporting and making sure that controls are compliant with our regulatory obligations. As a Trade & Transaction Reporting Manager, AVP, we’ll also look to you for daily people management activities and to ensure the ongoing support and development of your colleagues. Day-to-day, you’ll be:
  • Managing a team to deliver manual submissions of transactions under all applicable reporting jurisdictions
  • Overseeing the exception management of trade and transactions submissions under all applicable reporting jurisdictions
  • Raising and escalating any breaches in regulatory reporting on time
  • Maintaining documentation, including changes in regulations and internal processes, new regulatory requirements and requests for business support

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with an understanding of asset classes rates, credit, equity, FX, futures markets and structured trading businesses. You'll also have a CA, MBA or CFA. If you already have experience in people management, this would be an advantage although not essential. You’ll also need to have the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders. Additionally, you’ll need:
  • Knowledge of the front-to-back processes needed to maintain a stable and controlled trade environment and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Good communication and presentation skills and the ability to work within governance to creatively solve business challenges
  • An awareness of risk and control frameworks, including process documentation, control documentation and supervisory frameworks
  • An understanding of agile frameworks, cross-asset product specialisms and how to implement mandatory or regulatory changes
  • Experience of middle office or delivering large projects and programmes in trade and transaction regulatory reporting across the US, UK/EMEA and APAC
