Responsible for all criterions of in-house tool manufacturing, maintenance, and development Coordinate with all resources/developments/departments to ensure on time deliveries and adhere to statutory requirements Adhering to health, safety, and environmental requirements. Engage, train and lead a team on good manufacturing practices and lead the team to deliver finished products just in time. Support production and engineering. Execute timely reports. Maintain timelines and coordinate on the OTE (Overall tool effectiveness). Recommend need based new equipment procurement Procure tools for critical design products while keeping cost effectiveness in mind. To practice use of QC tools for root cause analysis and problem solving. Time management, ordering supplies, keeping facilities clean. Maintain shop floor discipline. Able to understand engineering drawing and process requirements. Design of fixture and jig to enhance production. Oversee all work through the tool room efficiently and cost effectively and ensure that all target dates for finished products are met. Manufacture new tools from technical drawings to a high level of workmanship and in an efficient, cost-effective manner. Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the tool room products, materials and advise others of any impact. Reducing the cycle time of components. Undertake continuous training and development. Responsible for production and planning of injection molding machines. Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility. Any tasks related to the business, assigned by the Plant head, must be implemented.
