• Proactively plan, coordinate and communicate construction processesr
• Lead, support and implement safety, environmental and quality guidelinesr
• Supervise, manage, monitor, train, coach and mentor workers performancer
• Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderlyr
• Check all worker competencies and train as requiredr

• Analyze, manage, resolve and mitigate risks, on-site issues and emergenciesr
• Assist in the preparation of reports pertaining to project status and progressr
• Lead and participate in Tailgates, ToolBox Talks, and project related stakeholder meetingsr
• Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniquesr

• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, subcontractors, etc. to determine project needsr
• Establish and communicate worker and subcontractor tasks, performance goals and deadlinesr
• Meet all contractual conditions of performancer
• Oversee all construction in compliance with specifications, safety and environmental regulationsr
• Timely identification and capture of scope changes via written change orders and schedule impactr
• Daily in-depth look ahead of project deliverables to mitigate problems and resolve any emerging onesr
• Collaborate with stakeholders on schedule development and planning to ensure milestones, targets and goals are achieved for: Production, Manpower, Equipment, Materials, Tools and Supplies, Subcontractors, Quality Control, Survey and other key elements as requiredr

• Ability to pass mandatory Drug/Alcohol pre-screen and obtain FIT test in advance of employment start dater
• Ability to complete mandatory internet-based Orientation and Indoctrination training and certificationr
• Class 5 DriveraEUR(TM)s License, reliable transportation, and ability to provide a clean Drivers Abstractr

• Mine Supervisor Certification, Level 1 OFA Industry Standard First Aid Ticket, preference to holding a valid Shift Boss Ticker (full or restricted), expertise and knowledge of BC Mines Act and Regulations, and knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations, policies, guidelines, and standardsr

• Demonstrated 5+ years construction management experience and comprehensive understanding of all facets of the construction processr

• Expert knowledge of materials, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standardsr
• Advanced working and operating knowledge of heavy-duty civil construction equipmentr
• Advanced knowledge of construction management, means, methods and proceduresr
• Excellent leadership, human resource management, organizational and planning skillsr
• Competent in conflict and crisis managementr
• Ability to organize, plan and see the "big pictureaEURr
• Excellent time, project management and budgetary skillsr
• Excellent communicator with an aptitude in math and problem-solving abilitiesr
• Preference to a Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related fieldr

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, good physical condition, stamina, and handling up to 50lbsr

• Ability to work both DAY and NIGHT Shifts with unpredictable and/or conflicting deadlinesr
