Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain various tools and machinery in the tool room, including Lathe Machine, Surface Grinder, and Milling Machine.
• Demonstrate proficiency in setting up and operating machines to produce precision parts and tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance on sheet metal tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications for tooling requirements.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool and machine performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Document and record maintenance activities, machine settings, and production data.
• Assist in the development and improvement of tooling processes to enhance efficiency.

Key Skills:

• Proficient in operating Lathe Machine, Surface Grinder, and Milling Machine.
• Knowledgeable in the maintenance of sheet metal tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Tool Room Operator or similar role.
• Technical training or certification in machining or tool and die making is a plus.
