Job Description


:

1) Job Purpose

Develop region wise agronomic Practices for each Value-added Product in our Operating zone, continuous visit to market (wholesale/ retail) to understand change in agriculture practices at farmers end and addition of new crops.

Daily monitoring VAP sales, plan/coordinate with sales team for VAP orders, monitoring dispatches by daily coordination with logistics team, monitoring consumables and ensure timely availability of VAP products to team, reconciliation VAP products, co-ordinate with insurance team for VAP.

Meeting with progressive farmers of different states to understand their critical issues in terms of nutrient requirements, their application in different stage stages of crop production.

Crop demonstration of all value-added product in different regions with differentiation in control plot vs demo plot, farmer gathering to be done time to time, for showing them standard practices for their crop and benefits of our product in increasing productivity of farm yield and impact on soil health.

Conducting soil health awareness program for secondary nutrients among the rural areas of our operating zone.

  • Preparing scope of the program and written material module (in local language);
  • Conduct knowledge sharing programs.
  • Issuing guidelines for conducting this program; training team for its implementation and monitoring its implementation.
Customer Centricity
  • Regular & Active engagement with farmers & Market for better understanding of customer\'s requirement, learning new concepts in agriculture field and implement knowledge for product/market developments.
  • Farmers/Customer visit to understand market for new product.
  • Farmer visit to understand their problems and requirement for new age products.
People & Projects
  • Prepare the succession planning and develop the team for the same
  • Engage team in day today decision making
  • Effective Utilization of FAs
  • Systematic approach to identify, detail & work on execution.
Cost
  • To check commercial viability of new product, cost effective solution providing for crop development.
  • Road Movement planning & drive Cost efficiencies
New product Development
  • Selection vendor finalization and market and system setup for new age product like water soluble fertilizer, Bentonite Sulphur ,Magnesium Sulfate etc.
