Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • Responsible for procuring services at the right cost and quality, while contributing to cost savings and fostering effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
:
  • Maintain the Contract Expiry Calendar and ensure timely renewal of service contracts before expiry.
  • Utilize e-procurement and digital tools such as RFQ platforms and Reverse Auctions.
  • Evaluate tender responses based on Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), Quality, and Commercials.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including feedback, evaluation, and ensuring GST compliance.
  • Identify and develop new suppliers to support cost reduction initiatives and introduction of new technologies.
  • Prepare MIS reports, analyze market dynamics, and provide forecasts.
  • Review and follow up on pending PR reports.
  • Ensure adherence to Purchase Guidelines and Code of Conduct (COC).
  • Coordinate with the Finance team to process payments and address related grievances or issues.
  • Review and renew General Purchase contracts (e.g., Airlines, Hotels, Forex services).
  • Manage Responsible Purchasing and Sustainability Audits, including:
  • ECOVADIS/SMETA audits
  • Annual Vendor Evaluations
  • Supplier Charter sign-offs
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Qualification: Engineering or MBA with good academics
  • Min 6-8 years of Purchase function experience in SERVICES
  • Working experience in manufacturing industry
