Department : Embedded Hardware/Software Position : TL – Embedded (Linux/Android) - BSP Location : Bangalore Experience : 8+ yrs Qualification : BE Electronics and Communication Engineering field (or equivalent) is required. No. of Openings : 1 Key Skills : Android SDK , Objective C, Linux, C++ ,ThreadX, GNU Compiler, driver development, BSP customization Role Expertise in Setup of development tools and environment for linux Expertise in NDK developments and tweaks Development of new drivers at kernel level (keypad, Camera, Display, GPIO, Wi-fi, Bluetooth etc) & HAL module development at linux level Experience in Power and Boot timing optimization for android & linux modifying & enhancing the stock AOSP source for particular application /OEM Knowledge of migration between android versions, score code management & design gap analysis, Android & linux porting on ARM core processor Experience on built root to build the root file system BSP customization. Experience in socket programming & device drivers Experience of porting OS on devices like PoS Terminals, Note Taking Tablets, Indusrial HMIs Requirements analysis, drafting proposal & effort/cost estimation for New Product design & development. Risk identification, formulating mitigation plan & tracking risk during different stages of the project Good with Debugging/Problem solving skill.
