Job Description


Regional head- South

- Prepare and execute sales plan for the region in consultation with National sales head

- Assist branch heads/group heads in meeting their sales targets

- Manage growth in business by increasing the yield from existing clients and tapping non traditional sources of revenue

- Liaise with media planners/event managers/PR agencies for ideation

- Trouble shoot crisis related to execution of sales

- Audit the quality of work being done by team

- Manage relations with key accounts and provide effective servicing

- Allocate responsibilities within the team, mentor the team with the objective of achieving revenue targets as per plan and ensuring sustained growth for OMS business

Sales Planning:

- Forecast revenues for the region on monthly/yearly basis; collate revenue generation targets from different categories of clients (fashion/retail/lifestyle/corporate/real estate/education/Television/Films etc) in order to achieve targets as per projections.

New Business Development:

- Assess potential of growth from new categories of clients; keep track of major publicity events being organized by clients for monetization; connect with internal stakeholders for pursuance of OMS business interests in order to sustain growth in business while meeting OMS guidelines

Sales Management:

- Monitor sales target achievement of team on weekly/monthly basis; assist group heads in execution of their sales target; trouble shoot issues related to scheduling of OMS stories; audit the quality of work being done for clients; escalate issues to National sales head/Business head for their timely intervention; assist business operations to ensure payment receipt on sales/to get approval on credit fixation for clients; monitor delivery of services by vendors in order to ensure a effective sales process and prioritization of work

Key account Management:

- Initiate periodic interactions with key business partners; give after sales service; accompany team members to critical client meetings in order to sustain/increase revenue from existing accounts and building network of newer clients.

People Management:

- Provide development feedback to the team members, identify competency gaps for current and future roles, drive fulfilment of required training, discuss and map career paths for key talent, recruit against open positions in order to ensure that team members have the competence and motivation to deliver targeted results
