Times Group - Investment Portfolio Manager - Brand Capital

Requirement: Chartered Accountant/ CFA. Exp: 3 to 4 yrs.

Location: Mumbai

This role will require working closely with the Head of Portfolio Management, Business Heads/ BD Team Members and also with President and head of Brand Capital

Knowledge required:

Essential: Companies Act provisions, IND AS requirements, Taxation, Understanding of Listed Equities and unlisted Equities

Desirable: Overseas Direct Investments, FEMA requirements, SEBI regulations

Skills Required:

Work skills: Analytical, MIS, Power point presentations, excel proficiency (Vlook up, Pivots, and managing large data)

Soft skills: Good Inter-personal skills, good in communication, Self-Driven, High on Integrity and commitment, Accountable, Assertive, Open and Approachable, High on Energy & Execution

:

1. Handling/ Managing/ Reporting of Brand Capital Portfolio Companies including tracking company for key corporate events, funding rounds, Investors, key financial performance matrix, exit rights, adverse events, annual reports

2. Co-ordination with existing business team members for getting information including EGM notices, any special request from investee companies impacting our rights

3. Handling entire MIS of Portfolio companies including tracking warrants expiring, our exit rights and foreclosures with recovery of dues

4. Handling other MIS on Brand Capital performance

5. Internal Valuation of the company for the purpose of market-to-market value of an investment based on comparable companies and its multiples

6. Verification of key parameters at the time of Equity investment which includes fulfillment of CPs, pre-KPMG audit, post-KPMG audit

7. Verification of various parameters at the time of making real estate investment which includes checking of cost sheets and verification of comparable projects

8. Assisting in the Pre-Investment Committee Process including checking records for fund raise and valuation of the company, documents for assessing rights of the other investors, and other market-related intelligence

9. Tracking on funding vs investment for real estate and whether the same in alignment with the agreement

10. Compliance with GST and Tax requirements

11. Monitoring of Year-end valuation of real estate companies

12. At the time of exit of investments verify legal agreements to check restrictions on exits, if any

13. Keeping MIS on Brand capital Exits - Realization, Cost, and Gains/Losses. Confirmation with finance on a monthly basis

14. Tracking of closure of deals after the same is approved by the Investment Committee
