TFL - Lending Growth - VP Position Overview Job Title Vice President- Global Lending Operations Location India, Bangalore [Details of the Role and how it fits into the team] The Vice President provides in-depth technical knowledge and expertise covering complex policies, processes, products and regulatory requirements pertaining to Lending Operations. They keep abreast of industry best practices, sharing knowledge with a range of internal stakeholders at all levels, regionally and globally as appropriate. They input to Business strategy as required. The Operations Expert represents the Bank by managing strong relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholders e.g. industry forums, regulators, third party vendors, market participants and internal divisions e.g. IT, Legal or Product Management. They communicate all changes relating to operational requirements, which impact on relevant processes and controls, ensuring understanding by the relevant target audiences. The Operations Expert identifies analyses and reviews operational readiness for any change-related activities. They define the requirements e.g., for the standardisation of processes/policies, translating the required changes for an operational environment and overview effective implementation. They also assess the risks and are responsible for risk mitigation to protect the Bank\'s reputation. Growth in a controlled environment Measurement and adherence to KPIs Keeping errors and operational risks under control. Managing without operational loss. Driving Efficiency Gain related projects through various initiatives / changes People Management - Recruitment, development, training and managing attrition Focus on the assessment and mitigation of the operational risks in Trade Finance and or Lending Ability to remain objective and to independently raise areas of operational risk exposure, while maintaining an effective working relationship with the line and other areas within the bank. High degree of people and change management skills Demonstrable adherence to the Bank\'s Values and Beliefs Inquisitive and probing approach to problem solving and general assessment Embrace and lead change and transformation ideas Your skills and experience Candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of business experience in an operation management, LS2, Loan IQ knowledge with strong communications skills. Strong background and sound knowledge in Lending Operations, managing team of 50+ FTE or more. Willing to work in EMEA or US shift, having experience in managing EMEA and US lending teams. Lending Product knowledge is a must Effective decision making and leadership skills. Good analytical skills, high attention to detail, solid organisational and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables / projects that are highly visible and of strategic importance to our clients Must be a facilitator managing potentially conflicting objectives Proficient in Project Management tools Familiar with Financial reporting and planning processes Sound knowledge on compliance and regulatory requirements. Sound degree of risk awareness.
