Position Overview

Job Title: TFL - Lending AVP Location: Bangalore Role Description Trade Finance & Lending Ops team in Bangalore is responsible in managing Lifecycle events on Loan Deals, which provides Middle Office and Back Office support to Global regions. The team is also involved in various aspects of recording and maintaining all Middle and Operational Roles of Loan Life Cycle includes Drawdown, Re-pricing, Payment, Cash Matching. Team is working closely with stakeholders in the Finance, Credit and technology divisions for Multiple Business Line such as Distressed Product Group (DPG), Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Global Credit Trading (GCT), Credit Solutions Group (CSG), Structured Trade & Export Finance (STEF) etc. The role is demanding complex & critical in nature and requires interaction with Trading Team, Finance, Sales, Agent Bank and Clients. Your key responsibilities
  • Managing the portfolio of sourced transaction processing of a particular country/region or a set of countries/regions
  • Stakeholder management
  • Client satisfaction
  • Multiple internal clients, across distinct process groups and locations.

  • Keeping errors and operational risks under control
  • Managing crisis without operational loss.

  • Deep dive in process and authorizing high value and complex transactions.

Your skills and experience Considering the demanding, complex & critical nature of the role and able to work in fast passed environment with consistent deadlines, candidates should meet the below requirements.
  • Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of business experience in an operation management / project management capacity, with strong communications skills.
  • Strong background and sound knowledge in Trade finance and/or Lending Operations, managing team size of 25+ FTE or more.
  • Effective decision making and leadership skills
  • Expertise in insourcing tasks from Onshore locations (experience of FI insourcing would be an added advantage)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables / projects that are highly visible and of strategic importance to our clients
  • Ability to effectively execute presentations and communications to clients internally and externally
  • Must be team builder and facilitator managing potentially conflicting objectives
  • Proficient in Project Management tools
  • Familiar with Financial reporting and planning processes
  • Sound knowledge on compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Sound degree of risk awareness
  • High degree of people and change management skills
