Testing Engineer

You will be working as a Testing Engineer and will be part of Motion Business Area for IEC LV Motors Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Quality Manager and will be responsible in executing test plans and demonstrating testing capabilities of Low Voltage Motors during internal testing and customer inspection for a superior customer experience.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and executing quality control plans and procedures for low voltage motors routine and type test
• Conducting Routine testing and type testing of low voltage motors, preparing of routine and type test reports
• Understanding of design specifications, QAP and drawings. Handling of customer/third party inspections
• Reporting of non-conformance and providing support in Root Cause Analysis and corrective actions on testing related issues
• Training of QA testing trainees and providing technical support when needed, ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards
• Troubleshooting any errors with respect to routine/type test set up and coordinating with internal team (Design/Production and Order handling)
• Preparing daily/monthly reports. Being well versed in IS/IEC/JEC and IEEE standards

Your background

• Diploma or Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation and Control Engineering
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant functional experience
• Hands on experience with measuring equipment of reputed make such as Yokogawa and Fluke (HV tester, Insulation resistance tester, Micro OHM meter, Power, Vibration and noise analyser)
• Familiar with Instrument calibration, ability to troubleshoot
• Familiar with QMS ISO 9001:2015
• Good communication skills
