The Role:
The Test Lead is responsible for leading a team of testers who is responsible for system testing of Headend, Conditional Access (CA), Middleware, and STB solutions. Test Lead shall have strong knowledge of DVB/MPEG standards and hands-on HE components like Multiplexer, SI/PSI, Modulator, etc. The position will be reporting to the test & Integration Manager and working closely with Integration Engineer, Project Manager, and Solution Architect to ensure the quality of Irdeto products as per the customer requirements. The test Lead also closely works with the Customers, Engineering teams, Product Owner, and Product test teams to understand the issues and effectively communicate the same with the engineering team.

Your mission at Irdeto
As part of the job role, you may have to travel for interactions with customers, 3rd parties, and component engineering teams. The test Lead should have a good understanding of the DTH & Broadcast system. In this role you will be joining our Video Entertainment team. Conditional access remains key to what we do; from managing new technology implementations, combating online piracy, offering anti-cheat methods for gaming to supporting customers' demand for high-quality multi-screen experiences Irdeto deliver to a global customer base.

How you can add value to the team?

• Technical and/or Engineering background.
• Good logical and analytical skills with the ability to absorb multiple requirements, provide analysis, and then at times provide practical solutions that meet the customers' needs.
• Good presentations skill to small to medium-sized groups.
• Extended years of experience in testing/leading a test team for Headend, Conditional Access (CA), Middleware, and STB solutions.
• Good Testing and Debugging skills.
• Well-versed in Test processes, test planning, and test designing.
• Involved in understanding, reviewing, and analyzing the customer requirements and preparing the test design to meet the finalized requirements.
• Involved in functional & non-functional testing types (Regression testing, sanity Testing, Performance Testing, Security Testing, Automation testing, UI Testing).
• Competent user of the Microsoft suite of Office applications including Microsoft Visio and Project.
• Knowledge of the DVB, MPEG standards, and hands-on HE components like Multiplexer, PSI, Modulator, etc.
• Knowledge of the broadcast industry with respect to workflow, operation and technologies.
• Good working experience on Headend, CA, and STB Middleware.
• Basic Understanding of Customer subscriber management and Billing system.
• Hands-on experience in Python Scripting and Storm tests will be an advantage.
• Team player but able. to work independently and remotely.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and oral
• Proactive and self-motivated.
