Roles and Responsibilities Roles & Responsibilities As a confident and competent personality, you are responsible for:

• Testing of GUI/Web Applications for our product
• Understanding requirements and creating test scripts
• Testing of Software modules, components, and applications
• Understand product requirements, and creating test cases/ test scripts from them
• Test application releases and create new or expand the existing framework
• Participating in Requirements Management
• Preparing Test and Traceability reports
• Contributing to Test Strategies and Test Plans
• Working in a team spread over multiple geographies

Desired Candidate Profile Education: Master’s degree / Bachelor in Engineering in Computer Science / Electronics
ISTQB Certification - Foundation / Advanced Level

Work Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience as software tester
• Min 2-3 years of experience in test automation

Test Automation:

• Knowledge of at least one scripting language, preferably python
• Knowledge of at least one Test Framework - BDD, Robot Framework
• API Testing

Interfaces / Communication Protocols:

• TCP/IP
• XML-RPC
• CAN (CANopen, J1939)

Tools:

• Knowledge of GUI test automation tool i.e., Squish, Selenium
• Experience with standard software development tools (Git, Subversion, Doxygen, etc.)
• Experience with Requirements Managements tool (eg: Polarion)
• Experience with Continuous Integration Tool (eg: Jenkins, gitlab runners)

Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of GUI testing:
• Desktop and web-based applications testing
• Basic understanding OOPS concepts
• Basics of Batch Scripting (Windows)

Methodologies:

• Knowledge in Structured Software Development Processes (i.e. V - Model)
• Knowledge in Requirements Engineering and Management
• Knowledge of Agile/SCRUM
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD)

Personal Communication:

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Basic German (spoken and written)

Soft Skills:

• Confident and dynamic appearance
• Recognizing team members for performing at the highest level
• Responsible for technology and quality in the team
• Generation of innovative thoughts

Willingness to travel: Stay in Germany for 2-4 week
