About The Job:

• The purpose of this role is to prepare test cases and perform testing of the product/ platform/ solution to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters.

Essential Job Functions:

• Instrumental in understanding the test requirements and designing test cases for the product.
• Authoring test plans based on business requirements and corresponding testable requirements.
• Implementing Wipro's Model-Based Testing approach to achieve efficient test generation.
• Ensuring all test cases are peer-reviewed to minimize rework.
• Collaborating with the development team to identify, capture, and version test cases.
• Defining testing criteria, parameters, scope and out-of-scope areas, and participating in UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
• Automating appropriate stages of the test lifecycle using VB macros, scheduling tools, and GUI automation.
• Designing and executing the automation framework and corresponding reporting mechanisms.
• Developing and automating test scenarios by setting up test environments, designing test plans, and executing test cases.
• Raising test defects with clear descriptions and reproduction steps in line with defined project norms.
• Identifying bugs, preparing defect reports, and tracking test progress.
• Ensuring zero rejection or slippage of deliverables, adhering to Wipro/Customer SLAs and norms.
• Designing and releasing test status dashboards at the end of each cycle for stakeholders.
• Providing usability and serviceability feedback, mapping results to quality risks, and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
• Preparing status reports and maintaining customer focus throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Ensuring professional customer interaction through email communication, defect tracking, calls, and business etiquette.
• Delivering timely WSRs, test execution summaries, and dashboard updates in the Test Management Repository.
• Accurately updating effort logs in eCube, TMS, and other project trackers.
• Providing timely responses to customer requests with zero instances of complaints externally or internally.
