Your role
As part of Wealth Management Private Clients (WMPC), you will support the automation strategy by enabling application development teams to automate their testing processes. You will assess and introduce new automation frameworks, define best practices, with the goal to guarantee best-in-class quality and stability for the whole WMPC.

We're looking for a Test automation expert/enabler to:

• Mentor and assist individual teams in setting up and scaling automation.
• Providing technical support to address impediments and blockers to accelerate the automation journey.
• Assess and recommend automation tools, frameworks, and best practices aligned with DevOps methodologies.
• Conduct code reviews and provide strategic direction to implement shift left.
• Ensure seamless incorporation of automated tests into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Design and implement effective test data generation in pipeline to support comprehensive and reliable testing.

Your team
We are part of Wealth Management Private Clients (WMPC) CTO, that enables the WMPC Application teams within UBS. We mainly focus on Enabling innovation and transformation of WMPC Technology organization by providing standardized and modern software quality assurance for increased efficiency; this will be supported by respective strategies and best practices in the areas of automation to guarantee best-in-class quality and stability for the entire WMPC Technology ecosystem.
Your expertise

• Drive test automation in the whole WMPC organization by enabling and mentoring individual teams in setting up and scaling automation.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in test automation.
• Proficient in implementing and customizing test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API testing environments.
• Strong coding and scripting capabilities in languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Java.
• Solid understanding of integrating automated tests and data generation strategies within CI/CD pipelines.
• Well-versed in DevOps methodologies, with the ability to align test automation strategies to support continuous delivery.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear, actionable guidance.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving technical challenges that hinder automation progress.
• Define and continuously evolve WMPC test automation vision and strategy providing technical and strategic leadership.
