JR39152 Test Applications Group Engineer (Evergreen) As a TAG Engineer at Micron , you will be responsible for developing, debugging, and maintaining software that directly enable development and deployment of semiconductor device Test Plans for sophisticated semiconductor memory devices. While your focus may be one test platform, this includes all p latforms and test steps (B urn-in and Final Test ) and 1st silicon through HVM . Responsibilities for this role will include, but are boundless to, the following: Define requirements and develop operational software for Test Plan deployment frameworks and tools. Including, but not limited to product configuration/attribute management, test template/flow definition and execution, test data capture and reporting, device binning, test cell control module and networking, central data systems and interfaces, engineer and operator interfaces, and communications with test cell handler/prober interfaces . Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the electrical test system platforms, and standard test data and process infrastructure as they apply to device/part testing Debug code issues and provide feedback to internal and external customers Support experiments with engineering functions and business partners to improve yield overall part performance, and test cell/production process efficiency Demonstrate good understanding and application of department processes, tools and systems Ensure all software releases implement to the release quality and source code retention standard Investigate and identify root cause of equipment and process parameter shifts Requirements: Degree in any Engineering field preferably with 1-2 years of experience Proficient in computer applications such as MS Excel and Word Self-motivated and hardworking with a cheerful personality Must be an excellent teammate and willing to work on 12-hour rotating shifts Good software development skills . Validated automated test equipment knowledge and experience. Skilled in writing and debugging test programs and data oriented tools. Extensive knowledge of Unix/Windows O/S environments and Perl/Python/C/C++ programming languages . Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and time management.
