Title: TERRITORY MANAGER

Duties

• Achieves marketing unit goals and objectives in a regional geographic area by supporting the channel partner organization, deliver training, product distribution, and promoting products and services.
• Supports the product distribution system and conducts training of channel partners, company employees or customers.
• Promotes sale of products and services to channel partners and end users and is ultimately accountable for meeting sales goals and market share goals.
• Recruits and develops channel partners.
• Manages the contractual relationships, serves as a liaison and resolves issues between the channel partner and the Company.
• Monitors and analyzes channel partner performance, market trends and competition.

Required

• Functional understanding of the design, operation, and manufacturing processes for construction and forestry equipment. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
• Demonstrated sales and marketing skills. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
• Successful negotiating and selling skills. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge.
• Knowledge of dealers and other channels. - Has a good understanding of the principles and can independently use the knowledge

Desired

• Sales/marketing management experience. - 1 - 3 years
• Selling directly to an end-user customer in a retail environment. - Less than 1 year
• Field sales and/or product support experience. - Less than 1 year
• Experience in construction and forestry industry. - Less than 1 year

Education

• Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
• Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
• Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
• Degree in a Marketing discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
