Position: Tender Executive (GEM Platform - Steel Industry)

Department: Tendering / Sales Support

Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai, India

Reporting To: Director - Sales & Operations

Experience: 2-5 years (with GEM platform experience)

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

The Tender Executive will handle end-to-end management of government and PSU tenders via the GEM portal, ensuring timely bid preparation, documentation, order execution, and coordination with internal teams and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and analyze steel-related tender opportunities on GEM and other e-procurement platforms.

Prepare, review, and submit bids in line with technical and commercial requirements.

Manage company profile, product listings, and price catalogs on GEM.

Handle order acceptance, dispatch coordination, and payment follow-ups through the GEM portal.

Coordinate with Sales, Accounts, and Logistics teams for accurate and timely tender submissions.

Maintain tender documents, certifications, and compliance reports for audit purposes.

Track bid results, manage EMD/PBG submissions, and ensure post-bid follow-ups.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience with GEM portal (mandatory).

Knowledge of steel and industrial procurement processes.

Strong proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and document formatting.

Excellent coordination and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in tendering (GEM experience mandatory).

Experience in steel or industrial material trading preferred.
