Location: Hyderabad Title: Technology Specialist-Power Electronics Experience:4-9years Summary of work Environment and Work performed: Specific Duties: The Technology Specialist is responsible for design and development of reliable and cost-effective Power electronic products which satisfy the business needs of TMEIC India. The position requires excellent technical engineering knowledge coupled with proficiency in product development and quality systems with a constant eye for improvements. Design, simulate, prototype and release power electronics products and systems from concept. Generate supporting documentation as per project requirements. Adhere to best practices, design standards, and processes during development. Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Experience: Essential: - Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical / Electronics Engineering Desired: - Master\'s degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics Knowledge Solid knowledge of Power Electronics Fundamentals, Power Switching Devices (IGBT/ MOSFET), SMPS, Magnetics & Gate Driver Design. Design experience of UPS, Inverters, Converters. Experience in EMI/EMC and Filter design. Should have working knowledge of Electronics design/Simulation tools such as MATLAB, PSpice, Orcad, Cadence or equivalent tools. Experience: Experience in preparing Technical Specifications, Design documents and Test plans Good and Consistent Academic Records. Passion to Succeed and eager to learn new technologies Strong Analytical skills. Strong Interpersonal skills, Self-motivated and innovative Positive Attitude & Discipline Skills and abilities: 5 to 9 Years of Experience in Design of Power Electronics Equipment Desired experience: Programming of Microprocessors - CPLD / Assembly Language like Embedded C, ALP of 8051 Experience in UPS or Solar Industry Good knowledge in IEC Standards. Familiar with Japanese language.
