Process Overview

Global Banking and Markets Technology group (GBAMT) provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Banking and Markets businesses including Treasury, Trade Finance, Credit, Payments, Transaction Banking, Equities Trading, Prime Brokerage, Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. In addition, GBAMT also provides technology solutions across several horizontal functions including Sales, CRM, Electronic Trading, Trade Work Flow, Pricing, and Market Risk, Middle office, Collateral Management, Credit Risk, Post-trade confirmation, Settlement and Client services for Trading, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management businesses.

GBAMT is engaged in over 800+ applications and across the complete spectrum of Application Development and Production Support. GBAMT's type of work and services include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using a wide range of technologies. GBAMT India team is doing extensive work in several regulatory, strategic and initiatives programs. GBAMT has also established a strong partnership with the GBAM operations team in India to deliver automation and functional enhancements to the applications that they are using.



Individual will perform as a contributing member of Environment Management team, to provide high quality, available, secure and fault tolerant operating environment for both development and non-production environment within CTO-GBAMT payment domain. The individual should conduct diagnostics, proactively detect problems related to application service, infrastructure components and dependent services, communication & coordination of environment and application triages/troubleshooting across all midrange platforms and corresponding stakeholder management on a regular basis to ensure application availability into Non Production adhering to ITIL Framework.

Responsibilities

• Triage & Resolve operational issues after deployment and to remove any remaining errors or deficiencies
• Triage functional issues reported by testing team to determine the root cause i.e., whether the issue caused by environmental or code.
• Splunk or any log analyzer tool
• Root Cause determination for Environment defects
• Ensure internal and external communication about the incidents/service requests/changes impacting the application landscape.
• Co-ordination with TI teams for web admin / MQ / database during triage.
• Create, enhance triage process and continue to improve the process for quick root cause analysis and issue resolution
• Ensured risk compliance as per GIS standards and met all norms as per the audit requirements
• Manage

and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality * Maintain Quality Center (QC) and periodically update QC with the daily triage issues. Publish weekly status reports to the testing team and stakeholders

• Backs up efficiently when the team members are on leave and provide continuous support to testing teams during weekend testing
• Act as L1 point of contact for the issues reported and troubleshoot the issues with the help of Dev team.

• Holding Professional degree

Certifications If Any

• ITIL v3 Intermediate Certification

Experience Range

• 5-12 Years

Foundational skills:

• Experience in handling large scale multi-tiered application
• Having good understanding on Application Environment and its various components.
• Experience in UNIX / Linux Operation Environment
• Hands on experience in any of the major payments processing system.
• Strong communication Oral/Written and should be vocal during triage bridge lines. Ability to co-ordinate with multiple stakeholders during a triage and able to take appropriate decisions in a timely manner
• Aware of the escalation matrix for the supported application and raise flags accordingly
• Ability to learn new tools & technologies quickly

Desired skills

• Good understanding on SEPA payment types i.e. PAIN,PACS,CAMT formats
• Good understanding on SWIFT payment types i.e. MT103,MT104,MT940,MT942 formats
• Knowledge and exposure on Clearing and Settlement systems
• Websphere Application Administration
• Exposure to Oracle SQL and IBM MQ
• Exposure to load balancing and networking concepts
• Good knowledge on SSO & Siteminder
• Good knowledge on Web security, SSL certificates, Firewall and Proxy Rules
• Exposure to Ansible

• 9 hours : Between 6:30Am to 10:30PM
