Process Overview
Technology Infrastructure part of the Global Technology & Operations organization, consists of more than 6,600 employees worldwide. With a presence in more than 35 countries, TI designs, builds and operates end-to-end technology infrastructure solutions and manages critical systems and platforms across the bank. TI delivers industry-leading infrastructure products and services to the companys employees, customers and clients around the world.

:
RHEL engineer responsible for all facets of engineering solutions and facilities for the existing Linux environment as well as future deployments.
Develop automated build/install workflows and automated certification/QA processes.
Experience in writing Ansible Playbook
Collaborate with the different Engineering and Support organizations across Technology and Infrastructure organization to keep in sync with the needs of the customer in ensuring solutions are best-of-breed.
Work on Linux/VMware Builds and related activities
Build Linux/Unix Servers, engage in Post build QA checks, General Service request, OS patching, Physical and Virtual Server migrations, ESM remediation, Scheduled changes etc.
This position typically requires 5 or more years of systems experience.

Requirements:
Education requirement: Bachelors degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent
Experience requirement: 5-7 years
Certification: - Any

Foundational Skills:
Linux administrator,
VCS & RedHat Cluster experience.
In depth expertise on RHEL
Hands on experience in VMware vSphere
Experience or exposure to VMware Cloud
Exposure to Red Hat OpenStack will be an added advantage
Scripting knowledge with Shell and Python and/or Perl
Working knowledge or experience with BladeLogic or other automation tools
Experience with Puppet or any configuration management tool is an advantage
Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills in a dynamic and changing environments
RHCE Certification will be added advantage

Desired Skills
Good to have Unix/Linux/Containers knowledge
Good to have Python scripting skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and understanding of interdependencies of actions
Strong communication, Collaboration, and coordination skills
Ability to work in a high pressured, large scale, business critical environment.
Strong analytical skills for performance analysis and troubleshooting.
